The Most Important Life Changing: Life Choice

The Roman Road

God Loves You! God wants You to have His Peace and Eternal Life.
Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us

Sin separates us from God. God's Peace and Eternal Life are lost
because of our sins.
Romans 5:12 (KJV) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

God has provided a gift of New Life. This Life is in Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You can have this Life! This Life is made
available through
Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1 (KJV) Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 1:16 (KJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Romans 5:21 (KJV) That as sin hath reigned unto death even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 10:9 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:10 (KJV) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Embroidering Your Life

When I was little, my mother used to sew a great deal. I would sit at her knee and look up from the floor and ask what she was doing. She informed me that she was embroidering.

As from the underside I watched her work within the boundaries of the little round hoop that she held in her hand, I complained to her that it sure looked messy from where I sat.

She would smile at me, look down and gently say, "Child, you go about your playing for a while, and when I am finished with my embroidering, I will put you on my knee and let you see it from my side."

I would wonder why she was using some dark threads along with the bright ones and why they seemed so jumbled from my view. A few minutes would pass and then I would hear Mother's voice say, "Child, come and sit on my knee."

This I did only to be surprised and thrilled to see a beautiful flower, or a sunset. I could not believe it, because from underneath it looked so messy.

Then Mother would say to me, "My child, from underneath it did look messy and jumbled, but you did not realize that there was a plan on the top.

It was a design. I was only following it. Now look at it from my side and you will see what I was doing.
" Many times through the years I have looked up to heaven and said, "Father, what are You doing?"
He has answered, "I am embroidering your life."
I say, "But it looks like a mess to me. It seems so jumbled. The threads seem so dark. Why can't they all be bright?"
The Father seems to tell me, "'My child, you go about your business of doing My business, and one day I will bring you to Heaven and put you on My knee and you will see the plan from My side."

"Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion."
For us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live, and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live ... that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess his name. He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.

I looked and before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!

Pray for our nation generally today, for our citizens and those who govern, that we might become more of a people who honor the Lord.

"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"
The sting of death is sin. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people, and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death - that is the devil - and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness.Pray today for the aging members of our Congress and Supreme Court.Scripture references: I Cor. 15:55; I Cor. 15:56; Heb. 9:26-28; Heb 2:14,15; 2 Tim.4:6-8.

Thought...

Maturity does not automatically come with the passage of years. Some of the people we work with may be spiritually much younger than their chronological age. A prayer I pray often is: "Lord, let me grow up, before I grow old."

Wow what an awesome thought I want to be young enough to enjoy life in child like manner
yet I want to be mature enough to being spiritually grown in the Lord that I can be a witness
to those that need answers understanding wisdom to why we need him so close to us in life.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. 2Peter 3:18(KJV)
